The Ford government just announced a new temporary “staycation” tax credit for 2022.
Ontarians who vacation in the province in 2022 can claim up to $1,000 for individuals or $2,000 for families on holiday rental accommodations.
It's a 20 percent tax credit which translates to a maximum $200 tax break for individual Ontarians or $400 for families.
The Bronte Villager will be featuring an article about the tax credit in the upcoming Spring 2022 edition. This will incentivize readers to stay in Ontario for their summer holidays. The magazine will be in effect from the third week of March through to the beginning of June, the perfect time for readers to book their summer holidays at an Ontario resort.
The Bronte Villager is distributed door-to-door in the high-income areas of South Oakville and South Burlington.
Here's an opportunity for Ontario resorts to advertise on barter and make cash sales from an audience who is looking for places to vacation in Ontario.
Prices are as follows, 100% Barter:
1/4 page: $275
1/2 page: $425
Full page: $625
Taxes are extra, payable in barter.
Graphic design is included. Simply send instructions along with photos, logo, and contact details.
Please book by Tuesday, March 8, and send instructions by Thursday, March 10.
